| Spagnol MCI 100 is an open mixing tank fertigation computer. Electrical conductivity or volumetric dosing are the strong points of this computerized mixer. |

The MCI 100 is a fertigation computer with open mixing tank. It can work with flow-rates that go from 4 to 60 m2/h and dose concentrate solutions on the basis of total conductivity or volumetric ratio in ml for every litre of fresh water. The hardware components of the MCI 100 are modular and expandable. In this way it can satisfy any request for nutrient solution, drainage and fresh water sourcing management.

Moreover, the MCI 100 can manage nebulization, misting and fog systems on the basis of climatic parameters inside and outside the greenhouse. These misting processes can take place simultaneously to the fertigation process.
The most important technical features of the MCI 100 are:
- electrical conductivity measurement and regulation through temperature compensation (double read-out possible)
- pH measurement and regulation through temperature compensation (double read-out possible)
- dosage of 4 concentrate solutions through total electrical conductivity or volumetric ratio concentrate solution/flow-rate of irrigation system
- aspiration of 1 acid solution
- possibility to command from 1 to 72 solenoid valves with 64 independent fertigation programmes
- irrigation system flow-rates up to 60 m2/h (even zones with different flow-rates)
- nutrient solution dosage by time or volume (minutes or hectolitres of nutrient solution).
It is also possible to connect:
- a photoradiometer to start irrigation on the basis of solar radiation
- Drenamatic drainage probes for management of irrigation on the basis of drainage (very useful for irrigation management in soil-less crops)
- accessories that will automatically start irrigation, like tensiometers, Wet sensors, scales, etc.
- accessories for connection with sub-irrigation systems like ebb & flood systems or other nutrient solution recirculating systems
- hardware/software accessories for the management of water sources like wells, catch basins or drainage
- inverters to regulate the pressure of each solenoid valve
- solenoid valves or other devices for automatic counter-washing of filters.
The MCI 100 has an internal memory for the filing of data regarding irrigation, alarms and climate.
An alarm programme intervenes in case of anomalies to the system inside or outside the greenhouse therefore protecting the crops and immediately informing the operator with messages on the monitor.
The MCI 100 can be connected to MC-Net 4 for long-distance supervision and to Process C1 for interaction with climate parameters.
