In the Ultra LP and Ultra HP systems disinfection is guaranteed by surveillance systems that continuously measure the quantity of radiation that passes through the solution, the optimum operation of the lamps and the exposition time.

Spagnol uses low pressure UV-C lamps for the Ultra LP system and powerful high pressure lamps for the Ultra HP system.
The Ultra LP system is equipped with 4 - 8 - 16 low pressure lamps horizontally set out. Each lamp has its own control circuit that constantly verifies if it's functioning properly.
An electronic panel with membrane keyboard and LCD display allows for a continuous control of the system. Energy consumption is really quite limited and maintenance is simple.
As an option, a UV-C sensor and flowmeter can be connected to constantly measure the amount of radiation.

Ultra HP is equipped with powerful high pressure lamps. The very high UV-C emission of these lamps means that the radiation can pass through highly cloudy liquid. Turbulence is created in the radiation chamber so as to equalize the exposition. If the cloudiness is too high, the computerized management system automatically mixes the solution with clear water.
A device that intervenes automatically handles the cleaning of the quartz jacket when necessary.

An electronic panel with membrane keyboard and LCD display can be used to control the functionality and programme the levels of radiation desired.
